Fray de Cantuña
Visual identity and packaging for craft beer

The craft beer Fray de Cantuña is a venture of a passionate about the history and legends of beer. The brand was born from the fusion of the Legend of Cantuña and the story of Fray Jodoco Ricke.

From these historical elements we design the visual identity and packaging. We use medieval and gothic typographies to connect the historical character of the brand's personality, metallic inks to evoke elegance in the packaging and a mosaic-type plot alluding to the legend of Cantuña and the construction of the Church of San Francisco in Quito.

We designed an identity that communicates history and quality.
